Healing Anointing Oil

Mrk 6:13  And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.

Jesus Christ used anointing oil in His ministry. I know it’s a big statement to make but unfortunately it is true. Anointing oil is a carrier and transporter of anointing or virtue from the source to where it is required. God can use anything to transport His power from the source to the beneficiary. Remember the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5? She touched the hem of Jesus’ garments and she got healed. Virtue was transferred from Christ into her body through Jesus’ clothes! Christ sent His disciples and gave them the virtue which was deposited into the oil. Apostle Paul deposited the healing and deliverance virtue in aprons and handkerchiefs (Acts 19:12). James the half brother of Jesus Christ says if someone is sick we should anoint them with oil (James 5:14-15). Prophet Elishah went one step further to where even his dry bones had imbibed so much virtue that they raised a dead body back to life (2 Kings 13:21).
